Fat Pasha is one of the most underrated recent spots I've visited - food and vibes-wise.
From the get go I was pleased by what they had to offer.
The two of us shared:
L'il Salatim Platter (5/5)
Love the sharing experience a salatim platter creates. It comes with two pitas, three falafels, pickles, and your choice of three of their dips, and we went for Labneh, Hummus, Babaganoush. My favorite was the Labneh, with the other two following up close. Special shoutout to the pickles. Reminds me of the kind I used to get back in Dubai growing up.
Pickle Brined Chicken (5/5)
One of my favorite renditions of a chicken dish of 2024. Fabulously seasoned and tender. I could eat this everyday and still be pleased. Cant wait to share this dish with others and revisit exclusively for it!
Tahini Chocolate Brownies (5/5)
This was fudgy, mildly warm, and the tahini, hazelnut topping and sea salt infused in there left us at a great ending note.
Service was great for most of it besides the couple of glitches - like when the server filled my half filled glass of sparkling water with regular water, and did nothing about it when brought up. And second, when an additional order of pita took forever to arrive that we simply ended up canceling it.
Loved the food, and cannot wait to return with more people to try more on the menu!
