Regular pharmacies rely on manufactured mass produced medication that does not accommodate personalization that may be required by patients that have allergies, sensitivities to fillers or adjustments to the strength or dose of the medication. A compounding pharmacy differs from most chains in that the pharmacist must work closely with the Doctor and the patient to find the right balance of customization to fulfill the best possible outcome for the patient.
